American Crime season 2: premiere date

American Crime’s rating dropped. It’s likely to be canceled but we are waiting for the news. Whes does season 2 start in 2016? What about the premiere air date?

The television series «American Crime» cannot be called the successful newcomer of ABC. The rating of the TV-project is disappointing for the rights holders.

However, the minimal chances for Season 2 still remain!

There is information that some actors won’t be back in show the next year, even if the TV-project is renewed. For instance, Regina King is invited in The Leftovers show, but this is unlikely to influence the ABC decision, as «American Crime» – is an anthology crime drama, which has a revolving cast/story.

UPDATE 1 (May 7, 2015): Good news! The show was renewed for a second season. The premiere is scheduled for spring winter 2016.

UPDATE 2 (November 7, 2015): American Crime‘s second season will premiere on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 (at 10/9c).
