The horror film series The Omen inspired producer Glen Mazzara to create a television series Damien. The project debuted on A&E channel in March 2016, but, frankly, viewers expected something more.

The critics put a bad score for this series on Metacritic (37/100), and the main discontent caused uninteresting script and lack of terrifying moments.

At this moment the number of fans of the show was reduced from 750 thousand to 400 thousand, so there are minimum chances for the second season. A&E representatives are too upset so unfortunate start of the series, but still not in a hurry to close it, and a formal decision has not yet reported (UPDATE 1).
