When does Episodes season 5 start? What we know about the premiere air date in 2015/2016? Will the show renewed or cancelled?

Creators of «Episodes» television series haven’t announced about its further destiny yet. The air date of season 5 is interesting for many fans of the show, but at the moment the rights holders aren’t sure the TV-project is worth to be financed.

The matter is the premiere of season 4 has been watched by about 370 million people in the USA, while the start of the previous season managed to attract more than 860 million viewers.

Let’s hope the broadcast on BBC Two will be really successful, as the renewal of Episodes depends only on that. We will wait for the Showtime official announcement and will publish it at this article.

UPDATE 1 (June 10, 2015): Showtime had renewed Episodes for a nine-episode fifth season, which begins filming in London in 2016.

UPDATE 2 (April 11, 2016): Episodes’ upcoming fifth season will be its last. Season 5 will bow sometime in 2017.

UPDATE 3 (April 28, 2017): Matt LeBlanc’s fifth and final batch of Episodes will begin on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 10/9c.
