Intruders season 2?

Will Intruders be renewed for a second season? When does the new episodes start on BBC America? Bad news… The show was cancelled after only one season.

The television series «Intruders» started its run on BBC America television channel already in August the last year and the episode 8 of the show was transmitted in October. As it now appears, this episode became final one for the show, as after the long considerations, the rights holders decided not to order Season 2.

The fall of the ratings and the decrease of its fans amount became the main reasons for show closing, as at the beginning it was watched by about 800 thousand Americans, and at the end – only 270 thousand.

The executive producer Glen Morgan was disappointed with such decision of BBC America, which he expressed in his Twitter. The writer Michael Marshall Smith was also disappointed, but thanked the devoted fans for the support.
