When does season 2 of Surviving Jack comedy series start? Will the show return in 2014/2015 on Fox? What is known about the new episodes?

TV-channel: Fox
Pilot episode: March 27, 2014
Creators: Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker

Season 1 Episode 1: 5.15 million U.S. viewers

Season 1 Episode 7: 4.00 million U.S. viewers

Fox television series «Surviving Jack» couldn’t managed to get financed for its season 2. The rights holders decided to close the show because of its low ratings.

The fact that the television series has been watched by about 4 million Americans and its appreciation on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes, couldn’t convince the producers and the show received an official status «cancelled».

It should be noted, that Chris Meloni has shown himself as a great comedian and it is unlikely that his acting is connected with the show closing. What do you think?

Chris Meloni is great actor, but show was s*cks!

I loved the show and want more, try again for financing, its so much better than the shows kept like “So you think you want to Dance” we have that already and DWTS works. how many music award shows do we need anyway….sitcoms that it is time to retire “how I met your mother” never liked. Your cast is good and the young teenage boy shows what a kids that age does experience. Keep a time slot, don’t pre=empt so much. We have boring shows on still that need to go not this one.

Funniest show on TV!!! I laughed out loud every episode. What a shame. Most of the other sit-coms are so lame, either because the cast is annoying or they basically say the same thing every week. This had great writing – outstanding dialogue- and a wonderful cast. I wish you could find a way to keep it on.

I thought it was the funniest show. Chris Meloni was great in this show. i haven’t laughed so hard in a long time and this is one of the few great shows. Most of the shows they have now are not all that great but not this one, the cast was great!

This show was HILARIOUS and I am incredibly disappointed that it was cancelled. As someone who was in high school in the 90s, I thought the show was right on. I find it very sad that a really good show is cancelled but yet cr*p like Honey Boo-Boo and Dance Moms stays on air. Bad decision.

I have never responded to a tv show review before, but I and my family enjoyed Chris Meloni in this series so much that I could NOT respond .We actually laughed out loud each week, and so looked forward to the next show! Please with all the garbage on tv,a show that my teenagers and their fathers could watch each week and relate to is pretty awesome. Please come back ,and Chris you were great,

This was the best half hour show. Why on earth was it cancelled? What is wrong with Fox?????Fox needs to at least keep the 8 episodes available for viewing.

Just another reason that the higher ups of Fox should be removed. I am going to stop watching any Fox shows after bones is off the air because every time Fox starts a great show they cancel it. Please I appeal to every other network out there take this show on and show Murdock and Fox what morons they are. Hopefully someone with an I Q higher than lint will purchase Fox from these idiots and maybe I will be back. For now Fox shouldn’t bother piloting any more shows they just cancel them.

Best show on TV laughed every week couldn’t wait till the next week I even had friends over to watch it and we laughed and laughed watched again. Better than all the other shows out there and fox didn’t even give it a chance.

Possibly the best sit-com that has come out in at least 10 years. People from teens to at least 40-somethings are going to identify with different aspects of the show. Never knew Chris Meloni had that kind of range as an actor. Very well written. It’s like “Married with Children” but more refined. If “Veronica Mars” can be redone as a movie, someone will also hopefully pick up this show.

Fantastic, laugh out loud type of show. You can say what you want but I believe it’s cancellation had nothing to do with acting, ratings or budget. The show was not politically correct. Disciplining kids, natural consequences, conservative values. Gotta shut that cr*p down before someone actually learns something. Better to keep shows that dumb down the viewers and keeps Americans idi*ts like The Simpsons and Mike & Mollie…
