TV channel The CW is ready to provide airtime for the series The Vampire Diaries in the season 2016/2017. According to the news, which was published online channel on March 11, the project is renewed for Season 8 and received financing for the creation of new episodes.
Also new seasons were ordered for another 10 series, including even the cellar-dweller “Reign”. This season, the rating of the series The Vampire Diaries decreases slightly, and the number of fans was reduced to the level of 1.1 million people.
As you can see, the leaving of Nina Dobrev still had a negative impact on the popularity of the show, despite of the comforting predictions of experts. By the way, now we have confirmed information that in 2017 the project will be left even by one of the main actresses, namely Kat Graham: “Season 8 will be my last season”.
