When will Wet Hot American Summer season 2 be released on Netflix? Will there be a Second Day of Camp. We want to know the premiere date!

The premiere of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp television series, which is a prequel to the famous movie of 2001, has taken place on July 31, 2015 on Netflix. All 8 episodes were warmly welcomed by both viewers and critics, and its scores on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic comprised 7.6/10 and 74/100 respectively.

The creators managed to meet the fans’ expectations, that’s why David Wain and Michael Showalter are very proud of their work. In one of their interviews they noted that they were ready to keep shootings and to develop the project. Also they added that “camp is a very fertile area for so many. For us, I don’t think we’ll ever run out of stories to tell about these characters”.

There is no confirmation on the second season yet, but there is no information about show cancelling either. We hope, soon the future of Season 2 will be determined, and if the show is renewed, we will publish its release date here.
