Will Babylon be renewed for a season 2? When does the new episodes premiere in 2015/2016? Was it the series finale or not?

British television series «Babylon» was launched on Channel 4 in February 2014, when its pilot episode was broadcast. The start of its first season, consisting of 6 episodes was in November the same year, and the premiere in the USA on SundanceTV was scheduled for January 8, 2015.

All the episodes got mixed reviews of the critics in the UK, that’s why the show wasn’t announced to be renewed for season 2 yet. The rights holders aren’t ready to announce the start air date of the new episodes yet, as at the moment there is no decision taken concerning their financing.
