Impastor season 2 premiere date

TV Land confirmed that Impastor was renewed for a second season. When will Season 2 premiere in 2016? What about the exact start date?

Now we can confidently say that the television series Impastor has met the requirements of the rights holders!

It should be mentioned that the development process of the show was launched in April 2014, and in June it was announced that Michael Rosenbaum would play the main role and also would act as one of the executive producers. In October 2014 TV Land television channel started the production of the first season, comprising ten episodes.

It premiered on July 15, 2015 and attracted the attention of more than 1.1 million Americans. During the broadcast of the following episodes the rating remained high despite the fact that the project got different reviews (5.5/10 on Rotten Tomatoes and 49/100 on Metacritic).

The rights holders didn’t even wait for the release of the tenth episode and officially announced about the renewal of Impastor show for Season 2, which would be broadcast by TV Land in summer the fall 2016. At the moment the exact premiere date of the new episodes hasn’t been announced yet (UPDATE 2), but we’re following the announcements and will publish it as soon as it appears.

UPDATE 1 (April 14, 2016): TV Land has announced that Season 2 of the Impastor series will premiere Sunday, June 26, 2016 (at 10:30/9:30c).

UPDATE 2 (May 7, 2016): Bad news… Season 2 of TV Land’s Impastor will now premiere sometime this fall. Exact Date – September 28, 2016.
