If you don’t like under cabinet lights that protrude and recessing them is not an option, then our 6w Super Slimline Under Cabinet Light is what you need! These lights are only 6mm thick which is relatively thin and can fit even the narrowest areas. If you have limited vertical space, these lights are perfect since they barely occupy any!
Our slimline under cabinet light can produce a brilliant natural white light with a stunning 300 lumens and a 110-degree beam angle. Not only does it have immense brightness, but it can also provide full coverage so no dark spot will be visible. Aside from that, it’s designed with a frosted cover that diffuses the light evenly.
This slimline under cabinet light is a 12v DC, so you’ll need a driver to make them work. You can either have the driver wired directly to the main circuit or add a plug at the end of the LED driver cable and plug it onto a socket. If you don’t know which driver to get, here’s our recommendation:
- 8-Watt LED Driver - Runs 1 light.
- 15-Watt LED Driver - Runs up to 2 lights.
- 20-Watt LED Driver - Runs up to 3 lights
- 30-Watt LED Driver - Runs up to 5 lights.
Aside from the standard light switch, there are other ways that you can control this under cabinet light. Here are some:
- Standard - Simply wire the LED driver into the mains and control the lights using a light switch or pop a plug onto the end of the cable and plug it into a plug socket.
- Remote Dimming - When you incorporate one of our remote controls, you’ll be able to dim the brightness from 1-100% and turn them on/off.
- Mains Dimming – You can dim/brighten and switch on/off this light with a traditional LED compatible wall dimmer. Just add a dimmable LED Driver instead of a standard LED driver. (Please note that you can only run a maximum of four lights).
