Kinryu no Mai (Golden Dragon Dance) is a 4 colour risograph in sunflower, fluorescent pink, blue and gold ink, printed on Munken Lynx 240gsm paper.

Inspired by the Golden Dragon Dance festival that takes place in March at Sensoji temple in Asakusa, Tokyo to bring in good fortune and a fruitful spring. The dance is a nod to the local legend that Kannon, a benevolent and merciful Buddha, cosplayed as a golden dragon and climbed down from Mount Kinryuzan, causing pine forests to emerge almost over night.

Nanami Takeuchi aka Nana Sometimes Draws draws inspiration from Japanese mythology and folklore to explore her heritage, creating new narratives for well-loved and lesser-known mythical creatures. Drawing with traditional brush pens, fine liners and anything that will create interesting textures. Riso printing brings her great joy, she enjoys seeing the lines and textures translate to print in these bold fluorescent colours depicting cute and slightly gruesome scenes.

Perfect Fit & Easy Install — Replaced Faulty Blade from Another Set

This 17" Rain-X blade ended up replacing a faulty 17" blade from a 5 PLUS set (24"/17"/12") I originally installed. The 17" from that set had a defective internal adapter — it wouldn’t seat properly on the wiper arm & was extremely difficult to remove. Once I got it apart, the adapter looked warped or misformed. Rather than deal with a full return, I replaced just the 17" with this Rain-X blade. Installation on the Rain-X was quick & straightforward — it locked in properly with no issues. Performance so far is solid: Smooth wipe No streaking No excess sound Good contact across the windshield Now I’m effectively running a side-by-side comparison (Rain-X 17" vs 5 PLUS 24"/12"), & I’ll update later if anything changes over time. Overall, this blade did exactly what I needed — simple install & reliable performance.
