Rake series: season 2?

Will Rake comedy-drama television series renewed for a season 2? We are waiting for the start date! Will the show return in 2014/2015?

With every new episode of «Rake» television series the number of its fans was constantly reducing.

At the beginning of the season the amount of its fans comprised about 7 million people, but at the end of the season this figure dropped to a mark of 1 million people.

Such factors made the creators close the show and forget about season 2. The financing of the new episode aren’t planned, as none of the channels wants to make a continuation.

Should the show be renewed or the decision about television series closing is right?
