Deze dakvormige Amberbomen 'Liquidambar styraciflue' komen oorspronkelijk uit het oosten van Noord-Amerika. In de 17e eeuw werden deze loofbomen naar Europa gehaald. De mooie bomen krijgen in de zomermaanden frisgroen, groot blad en hebben een bijna kurkachtige stam. Het blad verkleurd in de herfst wijn rood met geel, schitterende herfstkleuren dus. Deze dakboom wordt geleverd als hoogstam (stam van circa 220 cm) en daarboven een rek van 120x120 cm. De totale hoogte is ongeveer 250 cm (inclusief pot).

Aanplanting van de Amberboom - dakboom

Bepaal voordat u uw Amberboom gaat aanplanten de standplaats. Graaf vervolgens een gat dat ongeveer twee keer zo groot is als de kluit van uw dak-amberboom. Verwijder de pot en plaats uw nieuwe boom in het gat. Plaats de boom zo diep dat de kluit net gelijk is met de grond, dus niet te diep of ondiep. Vul de rest van het plantgat met goede DCM aanplantgrond en stamp het geheel goed aan. Geef de eerste paar weken om de twee dagen een ruime hoeveelheid water om uw dakboom goed aan te laten slaan.

Verstevigen van uw Amberboom - dakboom

Het scherm is wat zwaar, vandaar dat deze dakbomen steun nodig hebben. Vooral in de eerste jaren, deze kunt u later eventueel verwijderen. Plaats daarom twee boompalen op ongeveer 20-30 cm van de stam. Graaf met een grondboor een diep gat voor de boompalen. Verbindt uw dak-amberboom vervolgens met boombanden. Wikkel eerst de boomband om de stam heen, vervolgens om de boompaal. Onderaan deze tekst vindt u onder 'bijbehorend' alle producten die u nodig heeft voor het aanplanten en verstevigen van uw nieuwe dakboom.

Maten en vormen

Hoe groter de stamomtrek, hoe ouder de boom is. U heeft de keuze uit verschillende maten. De vormbomen van Yarinde zijn voorgeleid en kunnen direct in de grond aangeplant worden.

Leuk om te weten

De Amberboom kan ongeremd tot wel 45meter hoog worden. In Europa groeit deze boom echter minder snel dan in Noord-Amerika. Amberbomen zijn 1 van de meest voorkomende hardhoutsoorten in het zuiden van de VS.

I bought these because I ran out of Curology patches that I got with the free trial. These work similarly; you’ll need one or two patches to fully get rid of the pimple— it depends on how large & inflamed it is. Even if you need two the first patch will still a do a good job of draining most the gross fluid out. I like that these are more translucent/transparent than some other brands I’ve seen. They’re not obnoxious looking if you’re wearing one or two in the daytime. The adhesion has been great so far. I’ve tried it on bare and moisturized skin and either way it holds up. Once it’s been stuck in place for a few minutes you can apply a moisturizer on your face OVER the patches without them slipping off. Just use a gentle touch. There’s probably cheaper pimple patches from smaller brands but $4.49 (before tax) is definitely a reasonable cost for 30 patches So I gave it 4 stars for value for money. My only qualm is that the small size pimple patches could stand to be at least slightly bigger. Only new closed comedones that are just forming are that small (typically). Otherwise I’m satisfied with this purchase.
