- De DC18RD heeft een koelventilator en Active 3 Controls. Dit betekent dat tijdens het laden de laadspanning, laadstroom en temperatuur in de gaten gehouden worden. Het koelsysteem blaast koellucht de accu in. Hierdoor worden hoge temperaturen in de accu voorkomen, waardoor de levensduur van de accu verlengd wordt en het laadproces versneld.
- In combinatie met laadadapter ADP04 biedt deze lader ook de mogelijkheid om Ni-Cd en Ni-MH staaf- en blokaccu ´s van 7,2 t/m 18 V te laden.
