Description:
Cortec® EcoShield® VpCI®-144 is a rust inhibitor paper coated with Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors on one side and a recyclable moisture barrier coating on the other side, for oil and grease resistance. This paper is a better alternative to polyethylene and wax paper, which usually cannot be recycled through normal channels. With comparable water vapor barrier properties, EcoShield® VpCI®-144 is fully recyclable and repulpable. Protects both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Contains no nitrites, phosphates, silicones, chromates, other heavy metals or toxic products.

How to Use:
Make sure your item is clean and dry before wrapping. Then simply cut the paper to desired size and wrap the item in the paper. Keep the EcoShield® VpCI®-144 paper as close to the surface of the product as practical. Note that one side of the paper is coated with the water-barrier coating. Your part can be used immediately after unpacking, no cleaning or degreasing required.

Typical Applications:
For metal protection of carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, cast iron, aluminum alloys, copper, brass, solder. Use to protect products for storage and shipment: end closures for shipping tubes, insert strips for recessed areas in large packages, and sheet liners between products. For use on coils, wire reels, plate, bar, metal forging and die casting, metalworking, finished products and electrical and electronic components.
