Star Wars Rebels season 2: release date

Star Wars Rebels series was renewed for a second season by Disney. When does the new episodes come out on TV? We are waiting for the start air date in 2015!

Season 1 Episode 1: 1.03 million U.S. viewers

Critics’ positive reviews concerning the debut of «Star Wars Rebels» on Disney XD made the creators plan the future of the show. Despite the fact, that only a few episodes are broadcast, the rights holders announced about their decision to finance the second season.

Simon Kinberg and Dave Filoni are the executive producers of the mentioned episodes and Henry Gilroy will assist in the plot production. Disney Channels Worldwide President and Chief Creative Officer Gary Marsh praised the new animation work of Lucasfilm company and wished them to improve during all the future seasons.

Star Wars Rebels season 2 start – [October 14, 2015] (UPDATE 1)

As for the release date on TV of season 2, now it is kept secret. Let’s wait for the announcements of Disney XD and Lucasfilm Animation. We will publish the latest data as soon as they appear.

UPDATE 1: In August 2015, it was confirmed that season 2 will premiere on October 14, 2015.

UPDATE 2 (Nov.30, 2015): Disney XD has ordered a 22-episode third season of Star Wars Rebels.
