How could you complete such a series as The Good Place? Many fans are still waiting for season 5 and its premiere date. Will there be release on NBC in 2020?

Fans of comedies praised the series The Good Place, which was released on the NBC channel in 2016. Since then, every fall, the creators of the project prepared us another batch of humor, but is it worth waiting for a continuation in September 2020?

Story line of The Good Place comedy-series:

After her death, Eleanor Shellstrop finds himself in the “good place” where she is met by Michael, who welcomes the girl benevolently. Soon, she realizes that she was mistaken for someone else. Eleanor tells Chidi about the embarrassment that has occurred, and he agrees to help her become better and honestly earn a place in a better place.

Now the girl is surrounded by righteous people who have not done anything wrong in their lives, but Eleanor herself is far from as holy as the local inhabitants, and she died from an accident that was somewhat shameful. Does Eleanor have a chance to get better, or is the fraud still uncovered, and the main character punished?

Chidi Anagoni is a deceased professor of ethics who was born in Nigeria and raised in Senegal, the alleged second half of Eleanor. Jason Mendoza is an allegedly silent Buddhist monk, but Eleanor discovers that he is in fact a Jacksonville DJ. The role is assigned to Manny Jacinto (“The Romeo Section”, “The Good Doctor”).

We are still waiting for the good news and release date in 2020, but the statistics are disappointing… The fact that the series is gradually losing its fans haunts the creators. Recall that in the first season, the final episode was watched by more than 4 million people, and now only 2 million viewers are watching the TV-project. This was the main reason that in December 2018 it was decided to complete the series without breaking the storyline.

Fans tried to save their favorite series from completion, but their numerous requests did not give a positive result. The NBC channel management did not change its decision about Season 5 release in 2020 and confirmed the final completion of the shooting.
