Is the release date of Season 9 of the series The Vampire Diaries announced? Fans are still looking for information on the start of the new episodes on The CW.

Unfortunately, all the series, sooner or later are ended on television, and in 2017 it is time to say goodbye to the supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries. The right holders have officially confirmed that we shouldn’t wait for season 9, because in March we will watch the final of the show, which will give the answers to the remaining questions and put an end to this long story of vampires.

Also note that for the fans it is prepared a special episode called Forever Yours, which release date is appointed to March 10, 2017 (the day of the series’ finale). Remind that the timeslot of this show takes a spin-off The Originals starting from March 17.
