Will there be Gilmore Girls season 9? We are waiting for the exact release date on Netflix. Please, make season 9 of Gilmore Girls!

Revival of TV series Gilmore Girls turned out quite successful. The project was called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, but many fans remembered it as the eighth season.

At the moment, everyone is interested in the fate of this revival, because Netflix could not stop at one season. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no confirmed data, that the development of new episodes ever will be started, because Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is a separate miniseries, which consists of only four episodes.

Fans’ requests are needed to be heard, and in 2017 we are waiting for news about the release of the ninth season, but the official announcement from Netflix is not encouraging and experts, too, do not give a positive outlook.

UPDATE 1 (March 5, 2017): Netflix has begun exploring the possibility of a second revival (season 9). “We hope it happens”, said the streamer’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos.
