Last year, NBC representatives made a decision to cancel the production of the series The Mysteries of Laura, and to give its timeslot to crime drama called Blindspot. This project of Martin Gero demonstrated a 1.1 demo rating, which was worse than that of the canceled police procedural.

Of course, NBC channel expected a different result, so the chances of getting financing are very small for a third season, said experts. During the season of the series the rating gradually has fell, and at the moment it is already at the level of 0.9, which corresponds to the 8-th place (out of 10) in the rating of television dramas on NBC.

The number of fans is also considerably reduced and from 6 million people who have watched the finale of the first season, now there are just over 4 million viewers.
