Will there be Frequency season 2? We are waiting for the premiere date on The CW in 2017. Is the series renewed already?

The CW introduced in the fall 2016 a new series called Frequency.

This story is about a police officer, who once managed to communicate using radio waves in his car with his long dead father. He was like a daughter, a police detective, and died in 1996. Together they practice a strange tandem, which is investigating the unsolved murder cases. However, this timeless support and advice from other world partner leads to a complication of habitual life detective, involving the elements of disorder and confusion.

Well, the plot is quite interesting, and it has a positive impact on the rating of the series. Now the project has more than 1 million fans, and it gives a great chance (UPDATE 1) for a second season.

The channel representatives admit the fact that the possibility of further financing of the show is not excluded, because it has not been made just for one season. We are waiting for news from The CW.
