Will Fresh Off the Boat be renewed for a seasond season? The show had the good start on ABC. We hope for the premiere date of the new episodes in 2015/2016.

The television series «Fresh Off the Boat» became the excellent varian of mid-season comedy on ABC channel.

Most critics speak positively about the TV-project, as the creator Nahnatchka Khan managed to produce something extraordinary for the modern viewer. It is believed that the brilliant debut of the show will provide it with the chances for the second season financing, which will premiere in early 2016, but ABC management isn’t ready to take such a decision yet.

The fact, that at the start of the season the amount of viewers comprised 7,94 million people and now this figure has fallen below 5 million, can influence negatively the future of the show. However, let’s hope the premiere date of Season 2 will still be announced!

UPDATE 1 (May 7, 2015): Good news! ABC renewed Fresh Off The Boat for Season 2. The premiere is scheduled for the fall 2015 (Tuesday 8:30 pm).

UPDATE 2 (March 3, 2016): ABC announced that the show has been renewed for a third season.
