Mockingjay Part 2 release date

When will Mockingjay Part 2 come out in theaters? We know already the exact release date in US. Let’s wait for the premiere in 2015!

Trilogy The Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins, got enormous popularity all over the world. Soon the books became the bestsellers and the first two novels were in the list of the best-selling books of the USA for almost two years. Due to Lionsgate Company, Suzanne Collins’ work has been screened and at the moment three movies, based on the novels, have already been released.

The final of the story titled The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, has a budget of $125 million, and producer Francis Lawrence is responsible for its production. The release date of the given film in the USA is scheduled for November 20, 2015 and the viewers would have a possibility to choose between 2D and modern IMAX versions.

It should be noted, that the shootings of two parts of Mockingjay were holding at the same time and, unfortunately, Philip Seymour Hoffman, acting as Plutarch Heavensbee, died before he could finish his work in the second part. The representatives of Lionsgate announced that Hoffman’s character would be recreated with the help of digital technologies using filmed scenes.

Despite the fact that the franchise is based on three novels of Suzanne Collins, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer confirmed that the company was looking for possibility to renew the story and to create prequel or sequel. It is unknown yet how experts plan to do this, as at the moment the writer doesn’t plan to publish an extra book of the given novel, that’s why the screenwriters have a hard task.
