Good news! Portlandia renewed for two more seasons by IFC. When does season 6 premiere? We are waiting for the exact start air date in 2016!

«Portlandia» TV show has been renewed for seasons 6 and 7. Such an option for the continuation ordering by IFC channel the viewers faced in 2013, when two seasons at once were financed.

According to the announcement, seasons 6 and 7 will have 10 episodes each, and the premiere air date of the new episodes is scheduled for early 2016 January 21, 2016 (at 10/9c).

It had been confirmed officially, that Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein would act as the main characters at least another two years and Jonathan Krisel would also remain in the TV-project.
