When will Ransom season 2 episode 1 come out on CBS? We are waiting for the new episodes. Give us the release date!

The international television drama Ransom started in the USA, Canada, France and Germany. The release date of the 2nd season is expected by fans all over the world.

This TV-project has good chances to get financing for new episodes, because it has fans not only on CBS (more than 3 million people). The channel representatives have already renewed more than 18 shows in 2017, but Ransom still has not received a “green light” on the resumption of production.

Experts do not see the reasons for the cancelation of the series, but there is not official decision (UPDATE 1) from the rightholders. We are waiting for the announcement.

In the center of the plot is a group of negotiators, headed by Eric Beaumont. This guy, being a hacker, a doctor and a lawyer, is taking on the most risky and difficult tasks in different points of the Earth. UPDATE 1 (May 17, 2017): CBS announced that Ransom was cancelled in the US.

UPDATE 2 (October 10, 2017): CBS and Global officially announced that Ransom had been renewed for a 13 episode second season for broadcast in 2018.

UPDATE 3 (March 9, 2018): Season 2 of CBS’ hostage drama Ransom will premiere Saturday, April 7 at 8/7c.
