Do you like the series Rush Hour on CBS? Are you waiting for the start date of Season 2 in 2017? Bad news… CBS canceled the show after one season.
Original network: CBS
Developed by: Blake McCormick, Bill Lawrence
Genre: Action comedy
Season 1 Episode 1: 5.06 million U.S. viewers
…
Season 1 Episode 8: 4.13 million U.S. viewers
The series Rush Hour became a part of the CBS television program in March 2016. The project is based on the film series of the same name that had a positive impact on the rating.
The premiere on TV was watched by more than 5 million viewers and critics had already begun to doubt whether the series would have a second season.
The next episodes showed that the project couldn’t get a popularity but CBS CEO Les Moonves in an interview gave fans hope. He promised to renew five series from the list of “newcomers” and this was encouraging.
Unfortunately, in May, the final decision on the series Rush Hour was taken, according to which the project was announced to be closed and Season 2 was not planned. Do you agree with this “verdict” from CBS or the show deserves new episodes?
UPDATE 1: The show will return on July 23, 2016 (the remaining episodes).
