The television series South Park isn’t planning to leave the Comedy Central broadcast. The rights holders have renewed it for three more seasons, thus increasing the number of seasons to 23.

Each new season will have 10 episodes and the creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have already confirmed their contractual agreements to be extended till 2019.

As for the release date of the next (the 20th) season, it is scheduled for September 2016. Congratulations for this TV “long-liver”, as the number of its episodes will be above 300, and only few projects could boast with such numbers.
