Vera season 6: start date

Has the ITV renewed Vera for another season? Is the series coming back for another 4 episode run? We are waiting for the premiere (start) date in 2015/2016.

Season 5 Episode 1: 4.73 million UK viewers

The fifth season of «Vera» television series started not so successfully as the previous ones, which caused a stir among the experts. According to the statistics, the show attracted the attention of 4,73 million people, but earlier this figure never dropped below 6 million people.

Some critics suggest that the reason for the failed launch is its debut, scheduled for Easter, so the popularity of the TV-project is unlikely to be threatened.

As for the possible renewal of the show for Season 6, it is too early to talk about that yet, but let’s hope, the rights holders won’t postpone their decision and will announce the start date of the new episodes right after the final of the fifth season.
