The project is again nominated for the People’s Choice Awards in the Favorite Network TV Comedy category, but the number of viewers who watch it every week has slightly decreased compared to last year (but still there are over 6 million people). Of course, critics want to see an increase in the viewers and growth of the rating, but the performance of the series 2 Broke Girls is changing only for the worse.

Experts say that rating 1.1 (18-49), which is now at the show, still gives the right holders the opportunity to give a “green light” for the production of season 7, but it is not worth to hope for something more. UPDATE 1 (March 2017): CBS announced renewals for 16 shows, 11 returning and 5 freshman series. The channel has not handed out renewal to 2 Broke Girls yet.

UPDATE 2 (April 15, 2017): “This is not the end for these girls… we did not write the episode as a series finale.” – said co-showrunner Michelle Nader.

UPDATE 3 (May 13, 2017): Bad news… CBS has cancelled the raunchy Kat Dennings–Beth Behrs comedy after six seasons.
