When will Chicago Med season 2 premiere? NBC renewed the series for a second season and we will have something to watch in 2016-2017.

We can say now for sure that the series Chicago Med met the expectations of right holders, because there is an official confirmation of the renewal of the project for a second season. In December 2015, NBC’s representatives reported that the number of episodes of the first season increased to 18, and in February 2016 the show received financing for the production of the full Season 2.

Creator Dick Wolf has confirmed that he has extended his contract with NBC, and the order of the second season for the Chicago Med and the eighteenth season for the Law & Order: SVU – this was one of the conditions of the transaction. Thus, in the fall 2016 we expect a continuation of the history of personal and professional life of the hospital workers in Chicago, Illinois, but the exact release date of the second season is still not announced.
