TV show titled «Chicago P.D.» will be broadcast by NBC next year. The given information has been confirmed by Bob Greenblatt, the NBC President, who has announced about the renewal of spin-off for season 2 and the original version for season 3.

According to Greenblatt, both shows were successful in the previous year and managed to keep the necessary amount of TV viewers. In accordance with the special meeting results, the new «portion of episodes» was decided to be launched on September 24, 2014.
