Will Eye Candy show renewed for a season 2 by MTV? We are still waiting for the premiere air date of the new episodes in 2015/2016!

Mixed critics’ reviews concerning «Eye Candy» show may adverse negatively its stay on MTV. The pilot episode of the TV-project got 54/100 on Metacritic as well as it wasn’t approved by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly and Robert Lloyd of the Los Angeles Times.

However, Adam Smith of the Boston Herald noted that the number of fans among the teenagers was quite high and it could become a reason for season 2 ordering.

Thus, the premiere date of the new episodes may still be announced, that’s why we’re waiting for the MTV official announcement patiently.

UPDATE 1 (April 18, 2015): It’s official. MTV has cancelled Eye Candy. The show would not be returning for a second season. Low ratings.
