Good news! Jane the Virgin renewed for a second season by The CW. When will season 2 come out on TV? What about the start air date?

Good news for the fans of «Jane the Virgin» television series!

According to the announcement of the CW at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, the TV-project has been officially renewed for the complete season 2 and the premiere date of the new episodes is scheduled for October 12, 2015 (Monday, 9 pm).

It should be noted that this show is the winner of People’s Choice Award in Favorite New TV Comedy nomination, and this fact only proves its success and provides the show with its airtime during 2015/2016.

On the average, the show is being watched by about 1,3 Americans, which is quite good for the newcomer in comedy drama genre, experts say.
