NBC management has already confirmed the renewal of its several projects, but «Law & Order: SVU» television series ~~isn’t on the list yet~~.

In the middle of the current season the number of viewers, watching the show, has been reduced to 5,4 million people. That fact has raised a lot of discussions concerning the feasibility of new episodes financing.

Of course, this «survivor» of NBC hasn’t outrun itself yet and the creators have still have many ideas to continue the storyline, but if the number of fans falls to a critical level, than there are no achievements and awards that could help it to avoid cancellation, experts suggest.
