Louie comedy television series has been renewed by FX for a seven-episode season 5! Premiere air date in 2015 was confirmed.

The fans of comedy drama «Louie» ensured its renewal for season 5. However, only 8 episodes had been ordered this time, which made critics talk about show closing.

FX Productions CEO John Landgraf confirmed the premiere air date of the new episodes to be scheduled for April 9, 2015, but the announcement concerning the show closing wasn’t made.

The Network management says the fourth season has been successful and has managed to surprise by its innovation. The viewers have enjoyed both funny and heartbreaking episodes, so everybody is looking forward to the new ideas of Louie next year.
