After the kick-off of the eighth episode of animated television series Power Rangers Dino Charge, the rights holders announced about the renewal of the show under the name of Power Rangers Dino SuperCharge. The second season is to be launched in 2016, but the exact premiere date is still being awaited.

According to the creators, the successful start of the first season simply forced them to renew the show so quickly and to finance the new episodes.
