Are you waiting for the premiere date of Preacher season 2? AMC renewed the series for a 13-episode second season to air in 2017.

This summer AMC channel viewers got a new drama series called Preacher.

A creature named Genesis infused in the body of the priest Jesse Custer. It is good and at the same time it is evil which is ready to destroy everything in this world. Perhaps this is the only creature that can be compared by the power with God!

Quite an unusual story immediately caught the attention of fans of the mystical dramas, as well as special attention to the project from readers of eponymous comic book series. The premiere turned out successful (2.4 million viewers), but after four episodes the number of fans was reduced to 1.1 million people.

Should we wait after this for season 2 of the show Preacher? The critics are skeptical, but there is ~~still no answer~~ (UPDATE 1).

UPDATE 1 (June 29, 2016): AMC has renewed the Preacher drama series for a 13-episode second season.

UPDATE 2 (March 9, 2017): The Preacher series will return on June 25, at 10 pm.
