Only had the new season of the longest American animated sitcom «The Simpsons» been aired, as it was immediately renewed for Season 26!

In one of his interviews Kevin Reilly has noted that the given TV show is suggested to be a record-holder not only for its duration but also for the accumulation of jokes. According to statistics, the premiere episode of the current season of «The Simpsons» show was watched by 12% TV viewers more than the previous season.

The project is still on top of entertaining TV show list. 22 more episodes are announced to be ordered. The first one is to be broadcast in September 28, 2014.
