Will there be Wicked City season 2? What about the new episodes premiere in 2015-2016? ABC has cancelled Ed Westwick serial killer drama.

The television series Wicked City is one of ABC’s newcomers of 2015. It attracted the attention of more than 3 million Americans during the broadcast of its pilot episode, but right after the release of its third episode the number of the viewers reduced almost by half.

Low rating, many negative reviews of critics and lack of fans forced the network management cancel the show and stop shootings.

It should be noted that at the moment of canceling 8 episodes have been filmed, but when the remaining five episodes are to be aired (if they are aired at all) – is unknown yet.

Wicked City became the first series among the newcomers of the fall of 2015, which was canceled. Thus, this is not about the second season. And the produced episodes are likely to be broadcast.

UPDATE 1: The 5 unaired episodes will be available weekly on TVNZ OnDemand from November 18, 2015.
