Yes, it was no secret that preliminary cost of preparing the filming of new episodes was about $7 million, so all the fans of the show were waiting for an official statement from Amazon Video about the renewal of the TV-project.

It was even announced that the team of creators had already begun work on the renewal and in 2018 we would be waiting for the returning of the show. It was disappointing when in early September the right holders announced the closure of the series, as the representatives of Amazon decided to cut their expenses next year.

This decision was criticized not only by fans, but also by many experts, because who spends $7 million to prepare the project, and then closes it? Well, it does not make sense waiting for the release date of the 2nd season for Z: The Beginning of Everything, because the show is not even put up for sale and cannot be redeemed by any TV channel or online service.
