Will there be Zoo season 2? We want to know more information about the premiere (start) date in 2016. Any news for the release on CBS?
Back in July 2014 CBS television channel ordered 13 episodes of drama television series Zoo. Shootings were launched in January 2015 in New Orleans, and such experts as Josh Appelbaum André Nemec Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg were appointed to manage production.
The premiere attracted 8.18 million people and at the moment the project keeps its huge army of fans and high rating. Now the rights holders aren’t ready (UPDATE 1) to announce about Season 2 ordering, but the experts believe, the new episodes should be financed, as according to the statistics, the project is successful and critics agree.
After September 15 (the release date of the final episode of the first season) the creators promised to discuss the future of the show and to announce the verdict soon. We’re following the announcements of CBS and will keep you informed.

UPDATE 1 (Oct.2, 2015): Good news! CBS has renewed freshman drama Zoo for a second season, to air in Summer 2016.
UPDATE 2 (March 17, 2016): Zoo Season 2 will bow Tuesday, June 28, 2016 (at 9pm).
