When will Grace and Frankie season 2 be released on Netflix? Are the creators going to renew the show for the new season? What about premiere date in 2016?

The comedy series «Grace and Frankie» was launched on Netflix in May 2015 and was approved both by experts and critics. The TV-project was produced by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin starring.
The filming of the first season took place in Los Angeles, California from August till late November 2014. In April 2015 Netflix released the trailer of the show, after which the series premiered.
Now the rights holders announced about the renewal of the story and Season 2 of «Grace and Frankie» was prepared to be produced. After the announcement concerning the renewal the fans wanted to know the premiere date of the new episodes, but the creators are laconic: “wait until 2016”.

UPDATE 1 (Jan.17, 2016): Netflix on Sunday announced the premiere dates for 11 original series.
UPDATE 2: Netflix announced that the show would have a third season.

Just binge watched the entire 1st season. LOVE IT!!! The cast…fantastic. The dialogue…natural, funny, touching, and real. I can’t wait for season 2!

Watched season 1 with my best friend. Her & her husband have been besties with us for over 35 years. We just loved it and can’t wait for season 2…please hurry and give us a date so we can make arrangements to stay with friends again and binge watch!!!!

We loved this show. My daughter and I binged watch all of the first series and are looking forward to the next. All good actors really made the show plus the humor is hilarious. Netflix bring it back soon, please.

I can hardly wait for season 2 to come out! My husband and I just got Netflix last week. This is the first show we have watched. We watched four episodes every evening until we had finished the first season. We love this show and are looking forward to watching the next season.

Just got Netflix, started watching this show and LOVE it!! I’ll be sad to get to the end of Season 1 and then have to wait for 2 to come out. Something good to look forward to!

My fellow Vietnam Veterans would chastise the heck out of me for watching anything with Jane Fonda, but I have always liked her acting, and we really enjoy watching this series.
