Back in May the current year Syfy TV-channel management announced about the renewal of «Helix» television series for season 2. It has been confirmed, that 13 new episodes are financed, the same amount as in the previous year.

At the moment the rights holders announced the exact premiere date of the new episodes, which is being looking forward to by the fans of the show. According to the announcement, the new episodes are to be launched on January 16, 2015.

Let’s hope that the screenwriters have coped with their task and will surprise the viewers with the developed plot. A slight fall of the ratings in the previous year should be taken into account, that’s why both fans and critics are counting on the interesting episodes with the decent final of the season!
