Pixels 2 ?

Will there be Pixels 2 movie? We want to know the release date of second part. Columbia Pictures don’t hurry to make the announce about Sequel.

Pixels movie is called one of the most awaited projects of the summer, as its budget comprises $110 million and it is directed by Chris Columbus. The shootings started in Toronto, Canada, in June 2014 and lasted three months. Later the shot material was processed and prepared for 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D release.

The premiere date for the movie in the USA was set for June 24, 2015 and analytics predicted its success and a huge box office. The film stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad, which only adds interest to the movie and ensures the full houses.

In 1982 NASA tries to set contacts with the extraterrestrial life and launches a time capsule into outer space with the information about Earth and its residents. However, the aliens misinterpret the message, suggesting it to be a war declaration. The attack on Earth is being made in very unusual way, using the models of arcade games of 80s, including Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. Only the group of gamers leading by Sam Brenner, a game champion, can cope with the thread…

Such an unusual plot should be renewed, experts believe. Moreover, Pixels 2 has all the chances to be financed. The rights holders don’t hurry to make conclusions and to announce their decision on the given matter, that’s why it is too early to talk about the second movie.
