The series was renewed for a third season. When will The Affair season 3 premiere? We are looking forward to the new episodes in 2016 on Showtime.

Now it could be said with confidence that the second season of the television series The Affair turned out to be successful and met the creators’ expectations, as they made an official announcement concerning the renewal of the given project for Season 3.

According to the Showtime announcement, the start date of the new episodes is scheduled for the fall of 2016 and, apparently, the show is to be aired on the same day with the television series Homeland, which has already been financed for the new season.

More exact terms (UPDATE 1) will be announced closer to the premiere and we will publish them in this article.

It should be noted that Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi direct the show. In the list of the executive producers there are also Anya Epstein and Jeffrey Reiner.
