When will The Player season 2 premiere on NBC? We want to know the start date in 2016! Should it be cancelled or renewed? Bad news…

Even before the premiere of the television series The Player (also known as Endgame) it was predicted to be successful, as acting of such celebrity as Wesley Snipes interested many viewers. Initially 13 episodes of the debut season have been ordered, as well as Sony has sold the series’ airing rights to 105 international territories.

Unfortunately, after the release of several episodes it became clear that the show didn’t meet the expectations of the rights holders, and negative reviews of critics and dissatisfaction of some fans simply put an end to John Rogers’ and John Fox’ project.

The official announcement of the fact that Season 2 wouldn’t be produced, was made on October 23. Moreover, the show production was stopped after the creation of the ninth episode.
