The Son season 2 start date HBO

Are you waiting for the The Son’s return? The series was renewed for a second season. The start date on HBO in 2018 was confirmed.

There is good news for fans of the series The Son. The AMC channel renewed it for the second season, and the start date of new episodes is appointed to 2018.

The number of ordered episodes was confirmed: there were 10, as it had been expected. The contract of actor Pierce Brosnan was renewed for another year, and corresponding changes were made to the contracts with the creators Philipp Meyer, Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy.

Note that this series has average ratings on Rotten Tomatoes (5.8/10) and Metacritic (57/100), but this did not prevent it from getting financing for the development of the next season. The right holders note that the series The Son continues the good tradition of the westerns on the AMC channel, following such legendary projects as Broken Trail and Hell on Wheels.

It would simply not be fair to the viewers and the creative team to cancel the story after the debut season.
