«Awkward» season 4: release date

When does «Awkward» season 4 premiere? What is known about release date on TV and new showrunner? The show must go on!

Despite the showrunner substitution, MTV channel has no plans to close «Awkward» teen series. Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler, the new experts, are to start filming process, which is always being postponed.

According to the recent data, 20 episodes will be created – not 10 as it was planned yesterday.

The rights holders believe the show is successful and are ready to finance 10 more episodes. The release date is scheduled by MTV management for spring 2014.
