NBC management decided to give up live television variety series Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris, leaving the television viewers without Season 2.

According to the official announcement, the new episodes aren’t being planned and the project is reported to be canceled. In his interview Paul Telegdy (NBC’s president of late-night and alternative programming) noted, that he is satisfied with the work of Neil Patrick Harris and is planning to keep cooperating with him, but already in the frameworks of the other projects.

As for the released 8 episodes, Paul suggested them to be “an incredibly complicated and sophisticated form of television to put on a live show on a weekly basis”, but he is proud of his ability to release all the planned despite existing difficulties, and to get more than 5 million fans.
