The British television series Black Mirror, based on Charlie Brooker’s scripts, debuted on Channel 4 in 2011. The episodes are connected between each other neither by plot nor by actors, time or locations.
According to Brooker, all the storylines are linked only by the satire on the modern mode of living.
At home the show is very popular and all its fans are looking forward to the third season, which, unfortunately,
hasn’t even been ordered yet (UPDATE 1). The release date of the new episodes is still a question, but we are waiting for the good news of Channel 4.
Black Mirror season 3 premiere date – [October 21, 2016]
It should be noted that at the beginning of 2015 it turned out that Cris Abrego and Charlie Corwin were planning to develop the US-version of the show, the premiere of which was scheduled for 2016. Will the given project be able to become better than the original version?
UPDATE 1 (Sept.25, 2015): Netflix has confirmed the Season 3 renewal of Black Mirror (12 episodes), which moves to the streaming platform from Channel 4. A release date is TBD. Follow the updates!
